HAIR CARE

A lot of women struggle with hair breakage but with good products, constant treatments,
and trims your hair will consistently grow long, healthy, and beautiful!
I was going to the Dominican Hair Salons for a very long time until
finding a hairstylist who specializes in natural healthy hair.
Over time I realized my hair is growing more fluently, faster, and healthier.
Dominican hair salons are great but I don't have Dominican hair lol!
In my opinion if your hair is naturally curly and/or dry
a hairstylist that specialize in natural hair is best.

Just because I have a hair stylist doesn't mean I don't take care of my hair myself.

I've tried different types of shampoo and conditioners, brands, and treatments but I haven't got as much satisfaction until i started using Cantu Shea Butter. I found it at Walmart after using My DNA products for over 6 months, which is found at Sally's Beauty Supply store. My DNA products aren't bad at all but I love the results of Cantu. After a wash and condition I always use the leave in condition on my hair leaving it soft and curly.
Sometimes a co - wash and leave in condition is best for just a wash and go.
After styles I always use a little oil to keep my hair moisturized.
My hairstylist uses different products but this does just fine for me.

Between sew ins and hair appointments I like making an organic hair treatment using just olive oil and eggs.

For my hair length I use

3 eggs and 2 tablespoons of oil
Whisk the oil in the eggs and apply to hair from ends working your way up to your roots. Try not to make a big mess because this treatment is messy!
Let product sit on your hair for an hour under a plastic cap - you may notice some of the eggs partially "cooked" because of the heat under the cap.
Rinse treatment completely, making sure all of the yolk is out as well as the cooked parts followed by a shampoo wash and condition
Gently comb hair while conditioner is applied making sure your hair is rinsed well nor tangled.
The next step is applying coco oil to your hair & scalp.

I like to combine castor oil and coconut oil in a small rubbermaid bowl,
warm it up in the microwave for about 8 seconds (or less),
and apply to my hair as an oil base instead of grease.
Allow oil to marinate on your hair and scalp overnight protecting your hair
with a plastic cap and a scarf that way your pillow is protected as well.
This treatment promotes longer, stronger, and healthier hair.
Wash and style in the morning for the best results!

It's one thing to have nice treatments, awesome trims, and perfect hairstyles
but in order for your hair to maintain that beauty you MUST wrap your hair at night ladies.
Satan scarfs are recommended because the material protects your hair from the
breakage that could be caused by bad sleeping patterns.
If its been a long night from working, driving, or even partying
a bonnet is acceptable because wrapping your hair may take a bit longer.
Protect your hair and protect your beauty!
